Nestled on the Chichester plain\, Apuldram Roses has been flourishing for 45 years. In this talk\, Elizabeth shares her insights\, joys and challenges experienced through decades of experience cultivating roses at Apuldram. \nTalk starts at 2:30pm followed by raffle\, Hundred Plus draw\, and refreshments. Judging will commence at 10:30am. There will be lots of people around to help you. \nThis year we will be welcome community organisations\, charities and school groups to our Summer event. SUMMARY:Arundel Tulip Festival
DESCRIPTION:Arundel Tulip Festival provides the largest display of tulips in the country. Forty acres of gardens with more than 65\,000 tulips on display. \nIn 2022 a further 60\,000 tulips were added and there are now over 130 different names varieties. From Pink Impression\, and Oxford Blue to Passionalle\, Mistress\, Pail Scherer and Bagstogne. As well as the tulips we have narcissus and cammasias and alliums which continue into May. \nTickets are £39 including entry into the castle\, £28 for the garden only. DESCRIPTION:The Horticultural Society’s Summer Show\nThere will be Roses\, Sweet Peas and a wide variety of other flower entries on display.  A ‘Smell and Vote’ class\, where visitors can vote on the most fragrant rose bloom. Cookery\, handicraft\, photography and floral art exhibits.  Plus the junior exhibits including a poster for a party to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee and this year photographs of something beginning with S. \nThe show opens to the disabled from 1:30 pm \nOpen to the general public from 2:00 pm \nPrize money from 3:00 pm \nPresentation of prizes 4:00 pm followed by removal of exhibits. \nThere will be a plant stall and tombola and a refreshment stall for you to purchase drinks and a slice or two of cake. \n  \nExhibitors:  Staging takes place 6:15pm – 7:00pm Friday 8th July\,  8:00 – 10:15am Saturday 9th July. Judging will commence at 10:30am. \n  \n
