DESCRIPTION:The Horticultural Society’s Summer Show\nThere will be Roses\, Sweet Peas and a wide variety of other flower entries on display.  A ‘Smell and Vote’ class\, where visitors can vote on the most fragrant rose bloom. Cookery\, handicraft\, photography and floral art exhibits.  Plus the junior exhibits including a poster for a party to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee and this year photographs of something beginning with S. \nThe show opens to the disabled from 1:30 pm \nOpen to the general public from 2:00 pm \nPrize money from 3:00 pm \nPresentation of prizes 4:00 pm followed by removal of exhibits. \nThere will be a plant stall and tombola and a refreshment stall for you to purchase drinks and a slice or two of cake. \n  \nExhibitors:  Staging takes place 6:15pm – 7:00pm Friday 8th July\,  8:00 – 10:15am Saturday 9th July. Judging will commence at 10:30am. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:The Sussex Snowdrop Trust is hosting a talk on 30th April. Please find details of this talk below; \nGwendolyn bought Denmans as she is a passionate gardener and designer – she worked with John Brooks the international garden designer\, who was the previous owner.  Gwendolyn is an excellent speaker and she tells wonderful stories about Denmans over the years and has hundreds of photos – some of them she will be sharing with us on the 30th April. \nIt was heading for a housing site but she managed to buy it – just in time! \nIt’s a webinar zoom so you will be sent the link 24 hours before the event once you have bought your ticket – which is  £5 \nNo one can be seen! You will only see the Chairman  at the beginning introducing Gwendolyn and then she will give her talk and answer questions at the end.
