The Horticultural Society’s Summer Show
There will be Roses, Sweet Peas and a wide variety of other flower entries on display. A ‘Smell and Vote’ class, where visitors can vote on the most fragrant rose bloom. Cookery, handicraft, photography and floral art exhibits. Plus the junior exhibits including a poster for a party to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee and this year photographs of something beginning with S.
The show opens to the disabled from 1:30 pm
Open to the general public from 2:00 pm
Prize money from 3:00 pm
Presentation of prizes 4:00 pm followed by removal of exhibits.
There will be a plant stall and tombola and a refreshment stall for you to purchase drinks and a slice or two of cake.
Exhibitors: Staging takes place 6:15pm – 7:00pm Friday 8th July, 8:00 – 10:15am Saturday 9th July. Judging will commence at 10:30am.
