Ray Jones

The Society is saddened to announce the death of Ray Jones, who passed away on 2nd April 2026.

Ray served as President of the Society for the past three years and made a significant contribution to its work and community. He was one of the founders of the Growing Together Project and played a central role as its Coordinator, including running the project at Hayling College. In addition, Ray was an active member of the Trading Centre Team and the Sub Committee.

Ray’s dedication, commitment, and enthusiasm for horticulture and community engagement will be greatly missed.
