General Format of HIHS Talks and Workshops
The Social Sub-Committee, run by Gill Swift organises our talks, workshops, outings and holidays.
Talks normally start at 2.30pm, in the URCH, Hollow Lane, PO11 9EY. The venue provides opportunity to meet other members, hear about various aspects of gardening from experts, seek advice about your current horticultural problems, and enjoy a social and friendly afternoon. Meetings conclude with a raffle and light refreshments. A charge of £5 is made for non members so please bring along your membership card.
