Management Committee Vacancy
The Committee are looking for a new Lecture Secretary to replace Gill Elton who is looking to step down at the end of the year.
The Lecture Secretary for HIHS will choose various subjects to talk to the members about, most of them are related to horticulture.
There will be 7 meetings over the year, 5 talks in the URC hall, and the AGM in November
Also an evening one in the Community Centre .
The AGM and the club talks take place at the URC hall, Hollow Lane. PO11 9EY. The day time talks start at 2.30pm, refreshments are included
The secretary will have to use, web sites, previous talks given by other societies, adverts to gardeners etc. to find people who can enthuse about the subjects they are discussing with the club.
The halls need to be booked in advance
